Oh, crap................he's back!

And up to his usual:

Everyone is a oscillator designer........................and one that can get great phase noise, without any test equipment.

Probably just a matter of time before we have to deal with him at Greaser's Palace.
"Major Danby, sir."
"Danby. D-A-N-B-Y."
"Take him out and shoot him."
"Sir?"
"I said take him out and shoot him. Can't you hear?"

This is getting old.
No double blind testing was used in the making of this post.

Yeah, especially when you do a search and find out he has posted the same crap in 6 threads.

"Danby. D-A-N-B-Y."
"Take him out and shoot him."
"Sir?"

His cohorts in crime are just as stupid...................

http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/196817-discrete-low-jitter-clock-gb-33.html#post3914013

Did they really expect someone to supply a 33 MHz crystal that was NOT third-overtone? Oy vey.

A little knowledge truly is dangerous. Especially in the hands of a DIY'er.

And folks wonder why I hate those guys............

LJC - I love it.

Someone just sent me the phase noise plot of this so-called "low jitter clock".

So, here it is, for everyone's amusement!

OK, first off..........................

If it measures -108 dBc @ 10 Hz, then how the hell did he manage to get -55 dBc (or so) @ 1 Hz? (Answer: because he is an idiot.) It should be -78 dBc @ 1 Hz. Putz.

Second off..............................Andrea Doria...................-78 dBc @  1 Hz isn't what I would call "low jitter". Unless by "low jitter" you mean "better than a $1 Abracon". Putz.

This is low jitter.............

And that jitter is measured down to 1 Hz.

Keep making excuses.

Keep entertaining us.

I just noticed their "LJC" is still several dB above the noise floor, @ 1 kHz. The one that really is "low jitter" has a lower noise floor, than shown in the graph. It was measured using a Morion standard, as it has the lowest close-in noise of all the standards available to use. It also has the highest noise floor. No excuse................just the facts, ma'am.

Someone needs to go over to The Pub, and get them stirred up. We all need a good laugh!
