OK, I know, you think this is another rant on why I can't stand DIYers.
Hate to disappoint you, but it isn't. (Stay tuned: one is probably not too far behind!) No, it is just about "what is wrong with you people" in general.
A person, that is unknown to everyone here (and will remain so), is the Yearbook adviser/instructor at a local middle school (7th- and 8th-grade, for those of you in Rio Linda.) This was their first year to do that. They were dropped into that position, after the staff was already in place. (The only thing I can think of worse than working with 7th-grade girls is to have to work with 7th-grade girls that you did not get to choose.)
Well, despite all of that, the Yearbook came out very well. The students all seemed to love it. The other teachers and faculty thought it looked good. Everyone had good things to say about it.
Except one parent.
Nope. Seems this miserable cretin was very upset that there were not enough "candid, action shots" of her precious little pookie. Mind you, she was not upset that there weren't enough photos of little pookie: just that they were not "candid action" photos.
Why was that so troubling?
Because there were several other "candid, action shots" of some other little pookie. My, my...............we have nothing better to do than kvetch our little pookie did not get represented as the perfect little jock. No, that honor went to some other spoiled little brat. So, little pookie will go through life, his fragile ego having been crushed, because when folks pull out the 8th-grade Yearbook, you won't find enough "candid, action shots" of him. No, that honor went to someone else. Who, by happenstance, will be propelled into an adulthood of unbridled success. All because he had more "candid, action shots", way back in 8th grade.
Ok..........so to the mother of poor little pookie...........................
What is wrong with you people?
